Important Update - The Next Chapter of 6whips.com

We’re sharing an important update about 6Whips. After a long period of reflection, we’ve made the difficult decision to step back from running 6whips as a full-time production business.

Over the past year, operating a small handmade business has become increasingly challenging. Rising costs, material availability, shipping restrictions, and the realties of the current global financial climate (alongside other personal health considerations), have made continuing in the same way no longer sustainable.

While this marks a step back from regular production and custom orders, it does not mean the end of creating entirely.

Moving forward, we plan to shift our focus from ongoing production towards more intentional, creative pieces, which will include unique designs, one of a kind items, and also revisiting some of our own personal favorites from over the years. These creations will be very occasional rather than part of a regular release schedule, coming together only when time, inspiration, and opportunity align. We hope this slower, more intentional approach gives us the freedom to continue exploring our craft and passion, while ensuring each piece receives the thoughtful care and attention that has always made our handmade work truly special.

Over the coming weeks, we will be adding our remaining pre-made inventory to our online shop. As we move away from regular production, these items will only be available while supplies last and will not be regularly restocked once sold.

Future new releases will be announced through Instagram and FetLife, so be sure to follow along for updates and to be among the first to know when new creations become available.

We are incredibly grateful for the kindness, support, and encouragement we’ve received throughout the years. While 6whips will have a much smaller presence moving forward, we still hope this new chapter will still allows us to create in a personal and meaningful way - producing limited, and one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect the creativity and craftsmanship that have always been at the heart of what we do.
